Talisker - Made By The Sea Teaser

To celebrate the opening of their renovated distillery and visitor centre, Talisker wanted a teaser film to help launch the campaign for the new brand home.

The aim of the film was to celebrate the wildness of Skye, tapping into the quintessential experience and appealing to future visitors and tourists. The final teaser used a combination of 3D and video footage to show a journey across the island, showing a golden line making it’s way across a map, though the rugged mountains and alongside the powerful sea to the Talisker distillery.

Using satellite data to create an accurate and stylized 3D model of the island I then procedurally generated the texture of the land, coupled with topographic lines to give an OS map look.
